Vibrant Gujrati & Rajasthani Wedding in Baltimore
Ami and Anooj hosted their wedding weekend set against the scenic views of Baltimore. A fun-filled garba complete with a ceiling installation of bistro lighting and traditional fabric lanterns provided by the groom, took place at the American Visionary Art Museum. The couple opted to have both dinner seating and cocktail tables for guests to mingle and watch the evening’s entertainment. The dinner tables were designed with small copper matkis filled with greens and rose blooms with custom bandhini print fabric provided by the bride to give a nod to traditional Rajasthani fabric.
The couple hosted their ceremony and reception the next day at the Four Seasons hotel at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The morning ceremony featured an open Mandap set in the Cobalt Room. Crystal chandeliers adorned in lush brightly colored florals as part of the Mandap. A wispy growth of vines on the drape lent an outdoors feel to the organic inspired Mandap. Ballroom chandeliers leading up to the aisle were also adorned with lush green vines and floral bundles in coordinating colors and cascading greens were tied to the chair ends leading up the stage. The couple opted for a vibrant color palette for their ceremony. Ami chose a neutral bouquet of blush, white, green, and a touch of crimson which was paired perfectly against her blush bridal lehenga.
The reception went into a classic palette of white blooms paired with greens. Guests found their place cards under a floral bridge lined with crystal garlands and pendants, all set atop a set of gold stands filled with candles. We designed three different centerpieces throughout the ballroom pairing together varying heights and floral textures as different focal points. The couple’s stage was designed with white florals through the top with silk and organza ribbons ending in white orchids, all set against a green boxwood wall.
